Very poignant Morning Dew from Alpine '89 at the end of the streamcast.

I enjoyed the show tonight, pretty mellow in a respectful way, but tasty.

Really, a total memory robber!

The TRI stream stomps the Yahoo stream, Full HD resolution video and vastly superior audio. It's probably a combination of server overload at TRI, and as can always be expected, transmission bottleneck issues with Comcast.

Either way, it's good to see so many folks come out this evening to celebrate the life of one Jerome John Garcia.

The pedal steel player is a nice addition!

Weirs on it, Loose Lucy > Catfish John > Shakedown there must be some holy water in the building tonight.

Haven't heard Donna sing in over three decades. Her voice has dropped down an octave or two.

This broadcast just might be TRIs first over +1 million streamers.

One word and an acronym, Linux > NAS!

It was good to see and hear the ensembles focus on the "songs" and vocal harmonies without some guy noodling away attempting to fill the shoes of Garcia.

Will there be a version of this show for download? The video was beautiful online, but the audio is something that I'd like to hang onto. TRI studios have unbelievable sound characteristics. I've never heard streaming audio sounding that good. Anyone know?

I tried. I started listening to this and then someone played "mission" (my favorite Jerry tune) and my heart just sank when they blew the bass lead into the first chorus so i just threw on that '76 boston garden version and all is well.

People closest to Jerry? Thats an obscene over reach. Of course Bob and Phil but no one else that was there. Closest he didnt even know or know of any of the folks there. That doesnt bother me at all who was there just the statement. Is that being too nitpicky?
